"Culture Eats Process for Lunch ….. and Everything Else for Breakfast!"
Register by NOON Monday, January 23, 2012.
As organizations re-make themselves to meet the challenges of our global business environment, they encounter mysterious roadblocks and resistance they didn’t expect to see. Carefully designed initiatives somehow get derailed, and the source of the problem is difficult to pinpoint. Eventually, the organization’s culture is blamed … and accurately! The very fabric of the organization, its culture, is refusing to come to heel! How do you gain an understanding of the impact of an organization’s culture on the planned business change? What can we do about it? Can the culture be changed?
Join us for an interactive conversation about the impact of culture on business change efforts. Through our discussion, we will learn about techniques to uncover and adjust organizational culture as a critical factor in successful transformative business change. Kerri McBride, a member of the Human Capital practice at the North Highland Company will lead our discussion. Ms. McBride has thirty years of business experience including process engineering, product management, business strategy and organizational development expertise. For North Highland’s clients, McBride leads delivery of consulting engagements requiring a blend of disciplines to create change, including strategic planning, process improvement, organizational restructuring, and of course, shifting business culture. Her clients include major companies from across private industry, government, education, and non-profits. Prior to joining North Highland, McBride worked for Corning Incorporated in the high-tech manufacturing arena. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering, an MBA (finance focus), and is certified as a PMI PMP, IAF-CPF, and is a six-sigma Green Belt.
